Job description

Creative Ukrainian company — manufacturer and distributor of office supplies, school textiles and creative products — is opening a new position Head of Design. We are looking for a creative leader who can combine strategic thinking with inspiration and a taste for design. The company creates brands that inspire children to dream!

 Main areas of responsibility:

• Organization of the work of the design team: distribution of tasks, control of workload, priorities and deadlines
• Process coordination creation of design layouts - from brief to final approval
• Control of compliance with technical requirements, brand standards and quality of layouts
• Communication with product managers, marketing, production regarding design needs
• Document flow support: archive storage, version control
• Resource planning: load estimation, need for freelancers, schedules holidays
• Conducting regular meetings, feedback, helping the team to solve current issues

What is important:

• 3+ years of experience as a graphic designer and art director, as well as experience in product design
• We are considering candidates from Dnipro
• Basic knowledge of graphic design (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma - to understand the processes)
• B2+ level of English
• Sure planning, structuring and project management skills
• Document management and systematization of design files and archives
• Working with technical tasks and briefs
• Skills in setting tasks and monitoring results
