Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights (hereinafter - UMPD) was created to consolidate efforts and improve coordination between civil society organizations in Ukraine and their influence on state policy in the field of ensuring children's rights.
Ukrainian Network for Children's Rights" within the project "Supporting children and youth with experience in alternative forms of care"is looking for a program assistant.
Tasks: support of program activities, coordination assistance to managers, work with documents, plans and databases, organizational and communication support of activities, in particular with the participation of children and youth, support of organizational and training processes related to preparation and conducting educational events.
Main duties:
- assistance in the implementation of the skills program (collection of materials, monitoring of deadlines, preparation of documents);
- maintenance of simple tables, databases, trackers activities;
- promptly informing the team about plans, changes, deadlines;
- preparation of short reports, notes after events, meetings, work sessions;
- coordination of incoming and outgoing correspondence;
- control of document flow and archiving;
- organization of educational events for young people, including trainings, meetings, study trips (online and offline) in various regions of Ukraine;
- support of regular interaction with young people – moderation of chats and communication channels, active informing of participants about events, opportunities, changes;
- communication with partners and participants – informing, support, feedback, processing questionnaires, participation in the selection of young people;
- coordinating the logistics of participants and supporting communication with trainers;
- participating in planning, logistics and event reporting (together with the project team);
- creating an inclusive, safe and youth-friendly environment during all activities.
Requirements for the candidate(s):
- higher education;
- basic experience in administrative or project work (can be volunteer);
- ability to work with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar), e-mail, office equipment;
- ability to structure information, manage documents;
- competent written Ukrainian language;
- punctuality, responsibility, neatness in working with documents;
- experience of working in public initiatives, student organizations, state institutions or offices;
- skills in working with templates of official letters, accompanying notes, internal registers;
- experience of organizing meetings, online registrations, logistics of events;
- experience of working with project initiatives where the target audience is children/youth who are growing up or have grown up in boarding schools institutionx; orphans, children deprived of parental care, and persons from among them; children/youth in difficult life circumstances will be an advantage;
- understanding of child rights, alternative care or youth participation will be an advantage.
Working conditions:
- part-time employment (50%);
- UMPD concludes a contract for the provision of services with an individual entrepreneur of the 3rd group;
