KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Gender Strategy and Programming Oxfam
- Develop, negotiate and provide technical guidance for Oxfam's response in Ukraine. Gender strategy/road map and goals; ensure alignment and input to overall response strategy and GIE global strategy
- Provide advice and support to colleagues on program development, quality and gender accountability
- Contribute to partner (sub)strategy, proposals and program plans to ensure the promotion, integration, mainstreaming and strengthening of gender issues and inclusion in accordance with the new GIE global standards/themes and feminist principles
- Coordinate with colleagues across the development response system, oversight and monitoring of the Women's Rights Fund , to ensure flexible financing of human rights organizations in Ukraine.
- Providing technical advice, support and coordination of the implementation of gender mainstreaming processes within the framework of the program / project cycle
- Manage/support gender assessments and analysis, coordinate relevant research or studies that will help inform both advocacy and programming across sectors;
- Development/dissemination of relevant tools, knowledge products and support for gender-sensitive MEAL processes
- Promote , support and, as necessary, lead specific gender projects and targeted actions
- Respond to the information and reporting needs of line management, including but not limited to situation reports, donor reports, accountability reports, etc.

- Contribute to evidence-building, learning and advocacy, and prioritize gender issues
- Ensure capacity building and strengthening of GIEs with an intersectional feminist lens
- Deploy gender audit and promote feminist workplace culture and ways of working (in particular with and in relation to partners)
- Work with and receive support from the PMU Gender Team and liaise with relevant gender specialists from GHT, the branch and the wider confederation as required
Partnerships and partnership approaches
- Work with Oxfam management and partnership colleagues to identify, select and engage partners, with a focus on engaging partners working in the field gender, GBV prevention, women's rights and involvement in their humanitarian programs
- Support and collaborate with partners to identify and address their gender and inclusion capacity needs
- Support and accompany partners regarding the development and implementation of a gender strategy/ program/plan/policy/ activity
- Support the processes of reporting, accumulation of evidence and training
- Support partners in communicating with individuals, teams, organizations, clusters and other relevant bodies that will contribute to the development and/or implementation of their gender work
- Seek support and engage with partners to strengthen Oxfam's gender strategy and overall response
- Promote and facilitate gender-sensitive partnerships as well as feminist local humanitarian leadership
External representation and coordination
- in particular, in the Working Group "Gender in Humanitarian Action" (GIHAWG).
- Working closely with response colleagues, actively engage with like-minded organizations and external stakeholders to share and access relevant information that will help Oxfam and our partners understand the context and trends surrounding by gender
- Work with the ACE team on relevant external influence that highlights the gender agenda or priorities of Oxfam and/or partners

- The ability to travel up to 50% of the time to the locations of the Oxfam program, as well as partners in Ukraine

Experience, Knowledge and Competencies:
Required
- Knowledge of and demonstrated commitment to Oxfam's values, mission and work and feminist principles
- In-depth knowledge of factors contributing to gender inequality in a humanitarian context, with a graduate degree in gender/women's studies, social sciences, development or related fields of study.
- Experience and knowledge of the international humanitarian sector and an understanding of humanitarian principles, standards and guidelines, including the Sphere Code of Conduct, Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Core Humanitarian Standards, IASC Gender in Humanitarian Action, Gender-Based Violence Guidelines, GIE Oxfam Minimum Standards.
- Experience working with, advising and influencing senior managers, program staff and partners, and well-developed ability to facilitate learning, knowledge management and innovative capacity development schemes.
- Strong communication, influence and advocacy skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to communicate key concepts of gender justice in a humanitarian context to diverse audiences and influence attitudes towards the achievement of program objectives.
- Ability to represent Oxfam. Including strong self-awareness and excellent interpersonal, facilitation and partnership building skills.
- Ability to collaborate, support and treat others respectfully in multicultural teams and strong communication skills with a strong commitment to Oxfam and humanitarian values. ? Fluency (written and spoken) in English
