Game developer with WebGL and PixiJS in Upstaff

We seek a Game developer with WebGL and PixiJS to lead slot-game development, collaborate with artists and animators, and craft code-based video effects.

The project entails slot game development, primarily for in-house operations with a longer-term vision for B2B offerings and an expanding game portfolio. We will be implementing multilingual games to cater to diverse player bases.

Requirements

• 5+ years in game development, with a focus on slots and visual effects
• Expert in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Deep understanding OOP
• Proven track record of collaborating with creative teams
• Portfolio showcasing slot games and custom-coded video effects
• English level — Upper-Intermediate

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Developer, you’ll lead slot game development, collaborate with artists and animators, and craft code-based video effects. Your expertise will bridge the gap between technical excellence and artistic vision, creating unforgettable gaming experiences.

• Design and develop high-performance applications using Pixi.js
• Write clean, reliable, and efficient code
• Participation in code reviews and ensuring that the team adheres to code standards
• Optimizing application performance, identifying and eliminating bottlenecks in the code
• Develop engaging slot games and integrate cutting-edge video FX using JavaScript/TypeScript
• Collaborate with animators and artists, ensuring seamless visual storytelling
• Optimize game performance for a flawless player experience
