About the role
JSC "Decarbonization Fund of Ukraine" JSC is looking for a full-cycle Java developer who can independently or in a team create, launch and maintain web applications — from business logic to user interface and deployment.
This is a role for an engineer who does not divide the work into "it's not mine", understands the entire application life cycle and is ready to be responsible for the result.
Zones responsibilities
- Development of the server part of Java applications (Spring / Spring Boot).
- Implementation of web interfaces using Thymeleaf, HTML, CSS.
- Working with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Design and implementation of business logic of digital services.
- Development and support of REST APIs and internal integrations.
- Preparation applications for deployment (Docker).
- Participation in CI/CD setup (build, testing, deploy).
- Debugging, performance optimization, application support.
- Participation in requirements analysis together with a business analyst.
- Adherence to security and code quality standards.
Who we are looking for
- Experience commercial Java development.
- Sound knowledge of Spring / Spring Boot.
- Experience with Thymeleaf or other server-side templates.
- Practical experience with PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.
- Understanding of the full web application development cycle.
- Docker skills.
- Basic or practical understanding of CI/CD processes.
- Ability to work with Git and pull requests.
- Independence, responsibility, result-oriented.
It will be an advantage
- Experience of deploying applications in production.
- Experience of working with Linux servers.
- Experience of integration with external APIs and state registries.
- Understanding the principles of information security.
- Experience of participating in digitization projects or eGov.
- Skills in writing automated tests.

This is not a narrow backend role and not a SPA frontend.
The main focus is a working product, not experiments with technologies.
