Forecast Group Analyst

Key skills:

• Higher education (mathematics, energy or related specialties);
• Experience in analytical positions from 2 years (experience in the field of energy will be an advantage);
• Advanced mastery of Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, macros) and PowerBI (creation of dashboards, data visualization);
• Knowledge of the basics of forecasting and modeling (experience with time series will be an advantage);
• Knowledge of the specifics of the electricity market will be a significant advantage;
• Skills for working with unstructured or poorly structured data;
• Data processing from various sources.

Your tasks will be:

• Business plan: forecast of consumption/distribution of PUP for the year;
• Business plan: forecast of consumption/distribution of PVC for the year;
• Update of the forecast for the year: forecast of consumption/distribution of PUP/PVC by the end of the year (2-3 times a year);
• Operational plans (OP)/flash (clarification of OP)/weekly forecasts: forecast of EE consumption volumes by PVC/PUP categories, by OSR/OSP and by voltage classes;
• Weekly monitoring of current period consumption dynamics for fin.function;
• Daily calculation and analysis operational imbalances of the current accounting period;
• Analysis of current prices of RDN VDR UEB and prices of the balancing market;
• Formation of the current strategy for the purchase of electricity taking into account the results of price analysis;
• Participation in the formation of statistical data forms and their updating;
• Formation of analytical reports and forms regarding the work of companies on the balancing market.
