Financial Content Writer (Short Articles)

Project

We are looking for a writer to create short financial news articles about U.S. and European public companies.
The articles are used for a financial website and are based on rewriting and summarizing information from trusted financial sources.

Candidate Requirements

• Basic understanding of financial or stock market news

• Strong English reading and writing skills

• Ability to rewrite content clearly (not copy-paste)

• Attention to structure, links, and formatting

• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets

• Reliability and ability to meet daily deadlines

Experience in financial writing is a plus, but not required — training and examples are provided.

Responsibilities

• Write short financial articles about listed U.S. and European companies

• Each article must include:

  • 3 different titles (main title + variations)

  • Links to original sources

• Rewrite and summarize information from provided financial news sources

• Follow a given article structure and example

• Save completed articles in an Excel file and upload them to a Dropbox folder

You will rewrite content from sources such as:

• Investopedia

• Bloomberg

• Reuters

• CNBC

• MarketWatch

• Zacks

• Dividend.com

• MarketBeat

• TheStreet

• Short financial news style

• Clear structure with headings and paragraphs

• HTML formatting for headings and links

• Neutral, informative tone (no opinions)

An example article and structure are provided.

Work Format & Volume

• Part-time:

  • Number of articles per day: negotiable

  • Schedule: flexible

• Full-time:

  • Up to 40 articles per day

  • Fixed monthly workload

Compensation

• Part-time: salary per article or per day — negotiable

• Full-time:

  • €300 per month

  • Equivalent to 15,000 hryvnia
