We are looking for a Finance Team Lead to oversee and continuously improve financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across all finance processes.
This role combines hands-on financial expertise with team leadership and reports directly to the CFO. You will work closely with internal teams, management, and external consultants, taking ownership of accounting, reporting, cost control, forecasting, cash flow management, and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
What you need to succeed in this role:
- 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or finance controlling roles;
- Experience in a senior finance role or team leadership;
- Strong understanding of accounting processes, month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting;
- Hands-on experience with P&Ls and cash flow planning;
- Experience working with multiple entities and/or jurisdictions;
- Practical experience in cost control and financial monitoring;
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills;
- Experience interacting with banks and EMIs;
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
You will be expected to:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Prepare and review monthly P&Ls for projects;
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries and reconciliations;
- Review bookkeeping outputs and reporting workpapers;
- Lead the preparation and coordination of annual financial statements across multiple jurisdictions.
Forecasting & Performance Monitoring:
- Prepare rolling cash flow forecasts;
- Conduct weekly and monthly forecasting of project performance;
- Monitor variances and support management decision-making.
Cash Flow Management:
- Maintain accurate cash planning and visibility over cash positions;
- Oversee treasury-related activities and work closely with the Treasury Manager;
- Manage relationships with banks and EMIs, including account opening, maintenance, and compliance.
Regulatory & Tax Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, statutory reporting, and regulatory submissions across several jurisdictions;
- Act as the main point of contact for external advisors and consultants.
Team Leadership & Process Improvement:
- Lead and manage the team, including task allocation, segregation of duties, and team development;
- Design, implement, and maintain financial controls and procedures;
- Continuously improve financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy;
- Identify risks and recommend improvements in reporting and workflows.
