Mission and purpose of the position:strengthening families who find themselves in difficult life circumstances and where there is a risk of a child losing parental care.

Functional responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis and assessment of the situation in matters of family strengthening within the local community.
  • Based on the results of these assessments and taking into account the mission of the organization and strategic priorities, to develop, together with partners and participants of the program, an action plan to strengthen families who find themselves in difficult life circumstances, as well as where there is a risk of a child losing parental care.
  • Make a work plan and budget in cooperation with the direction team.
  • Participate at the invitation of partners in the meetings of the coordination council acting in the interests of children.
  • Prepare statistical and analytical reports.
  • Troubleshoot contacts and cooperation with individual groups, organizations and institutions working within the local community, from among those who share the vision of the organization and can provide additional services for families.
  • Work with informing the local community about the work of projects through mass media, schools, kindergartens, etc.
  • Organize and conduct meetings with partners of non-governmental public organizations that work in the interests of children.
  • Organize interactions between employees of the department in order to implement an individual family development plan.
  • To control the activities of social work specialists regarding the collection of documents and managing the personal affairs of program participants.
  • To ensure the address and effective use of financial resources of the organization, monetary donations, donations in the form of goods/services, humanitarian aid, etc.
  • Responsible for the distribution of humanitarian and other types of aid in accordance with the needs of families. conducting financial planning of the direction's activities and monthly analysis of expenses in accordance with the approved budget.
  • Ensure timely, transparent and effective financial and administrative procedures.
  • Ensure monitoring of the participation of program participants through individual family development plans.

Requirements for candidates:

  • Full higher education (specialist, master) in the field of social sciences and social provision, project management, economics, management, other related sciences.
  • Experience of working as a coordinator, head or manager of a social project from 1 year.
  • Experience of practical work with children and families from 3 years.
  • Knowledge of current legislation on protection of child and family rights.
  • Knowledge and practical skills in the field of providing social services to families who find themselves in difficult life circumstances, and children who are at risk of losing parental care.
  • Experience of working with state and public organizations.
