Institute of Analytics and Advocacy (hereinafter IAA) — a think tank working on civil society development, policy and data analysis, development and implementation of innovative digital solutions. Sounds interesting, tell me?

To work in the IAA team within the framework of a 3-year international project aimed at improving the efficiency of the State Customs Service of Ukraine and harmonization of customs policy in accordance with EU standards, we are looking for an expert on the activities of the State Customs Service

What tasks await you:

• providing consulting support in the implementation of project activities and activities;
• participating in the organization and conducting of analytical studies and preparation of analytical materials;

• participation in the preparation of events on behalf of or with the participation of the organization, related to project tasks and, in general, issues of effective work of the State Customs Service of Ukraine;
• establishing contacts with representatives of NGOs, business communities and other interested parties;
• monitoring of the activities of the State Customs Service and related processes, summarizing and short annotations;
• preparation of information materials within the project (as needed);
• participation in online project team meetings to discuss news, status and planning;
• coordinating efforts and activities with the IAA media department;
• supporting dissemination of project products and results to stakeholders and the public;

• performance of other related tasks that may arise in the process of working on the project.

What we expect from you:

• fluency in the Ukrainian language;
• excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to present information concisely and structured;
• knowledge and understanding of the current state of the legislative framework on customs affairs, institutional development and corporate governance;
• legal or economic education.

It will be a plus:

• work experience in the management structures of the State Customs Service of Ukraine.
• fluency in English.
