Embedded Computer Vision Engineer (Drone Integration) in Centr doslidzhen bezpilotnih sistem

General Chereshnya is a Ukrainian defense-tech company that develops and mass-produces modern unmanned aerial vehicles, including FPV drones and interceptor drones for countering aerial threats. All of our products are created in collaboration with and at the request of the military.

We are currently looking for an Embedded Computer Vision Engineer to join the team to work on the development, production and implementation of technology solutions that impact the effectiveness of our products and projects.

Main job duties:

• Analysis, development and optimization of computer vision algorithms (detection, tracking).
• Collection and preparation of data set for training.
• Integration of CV modules with flight controller and drone sensor systems.
• Working with data streams of cameras, IMU, LiDAR, GPS and other sensors.
• Optimization of models for embedded platforms (ARM, Jetson, FPGA).
• Testing and debugging of algorithms in real conditions flight.
• Cooperation with Embedded developers to ensure fast and stable system operation.

Necessary skills and qualifications:

• Practical experience in Computer development Vision solutions.
• Knowledge and experience of using existing recognition and tracking libraries.
• Experience of working with embedded platforms (ARM, Jetson, Raspberry Pi).
• Deep understanding of tracking algorithms, SLAM, object detection, segmentation.
• Basic knowledge of C/C++ and Python for algorithm integration.
• Skills of optimizing models for real-time processing.
