As a eLearning Specialist, you will be crucial in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive eLearning courses that inspire and educate our clients' target audiences. You will be able to work on exciting projects, collaborating with instructional designers, quality assurance specialists, team leads, and a customer success team to create cutting-edge eLearning experiences.ResponsibilitiesWork 9am EST- 5pm ESTWork with team lead, senior eLearning developer, and customer success to deliver cutting-edge learning and course contentEnsure quality and seamless learning experience is reflected in course contentIdentify gaps in instructional design artifacts, work to drive clarity and closureHands-on development and scripting work in Articulate Storyline 360Ability to understand instructional design artifacts and translate them into Articulate Storyline codeProvide visual and design critiques to improve the usability and learning experience of course contentResponsible for designing and developing engaging, learner-centered eLearning courses utilizing Articulate Storyline and other content-authoring toolsCreate a unique course design concept, for every course, without the use of templatesPerform full quality checks and testing of eLearning courses in the LMS environmentCollaborate with instructional designers, vendors, stakeholders, and business teams to identify goals and expected outcomes for the development and update of learning experiencesAssist contractors and vendors in their course developmentServe as a resource and expert for graphic design and multimedia development for all team initiativesTranslate complex, technical topics into engaging and accessible online content through user interfaces, graphics, illustrations, animations, video, and/or simulations for e-learning coursewareApply knowledge of adult learning principles and theories to the development of course activities and interactionsEnsure all courses adhere to development standards and update existing courses as needed to bring them into alignment with standardsDevelop and test innovative prototypes for eLearning development tools and methodologiesWork with cross-functional team members to ensure team success and deliver valueBasic video editing skills and Vyond animation.Software KnowledgeArticulateVyondAdobe Creative SuiteGenially (preferred)Evolve (preferred)QualificationsBachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Multimedia Design, Graphic Design or a related field (preferred).Proven experience in developing eLearning courses using Articulate Storyline 360.Proficiency in multimedia software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Strong project management and time management skills.Knowledge of SCORM and xAPI standards.A portfolio showcasing your eLearning projects is highly desirable.Benefits10 Holidays Paid10 days PTOIn-office lunch, our treat, once a month.95% Remote Work if based in Guatemala / 100% Remote Work if you are based anywhere else.Quarterly ActivitiesSchedule flexibility.Career development plan*Please be advised that only applications submitted in English will be considered.*Applicants are requested to provide a portfolio that not only includes examples of work with Storyline and Rise but also demonstrates your instructional design expertise.
