Your main responsibilities will be:
- Plan and implement/implement software measures related to economic recovery, including, but not limited to, support in the field of vocational training, distribution of business grants and capacity building of micro and small businesses.
- Supporting the Head of the Economic Development Project Group in the preparation and updating of monthly work plans.
- Identify and inform the Project Team Leader and Manager about economic development/restoration needs in identified locations. Ensure the collection of both quantitative and qualitative information and data.
- Coordinate work with colleagues in information management and actively participate inanalysis of collected information and data.
- Organize informational and educational activities, including dissemination of key messages, development and distribution of informational and educational and communication materials and holding informational sessions, in accordance with the needs identified during monitoring.< /li>
- Contribute to the improvement of the quality of the community-oriented approach of DRB by effectively identifying and coordinating work with stakeholders, key informants and community members.
- Mobilize and establish strong links with communities through consistent interaction with local structures and adherence to approaches that take into account cultural characteristics and dignity.
- Supervise the work of junior specialists of the economic development project and ensure the quality of their work.
- Coordinate work with other departments of the DRB to improve the process of referrals and information exchange.
- Contribute and provide field information for new project funding proposals.
- Provide regular reports to Economic Development Project Team Leader and/or Economic Development Project Manager development.
- Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by the economic development project team leader and/or economic development manager related to the achievement of economic recovery goals.
About You:
- At least 2 + years of experience in implementing measures with economic recovery or livelihoods, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
- Deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges of business development in Ukraine, with special knowledge of the economic context of the Chernihiv region.
- Proven time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, ability to discuss and resolve sensitive issues professionally and compassionately.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including individuals, teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of business grants or entrepreneurship support mechanisms, including needs assessment and targeted assistance, is an advantage.
- High level of professional ethics and understanding of confidentiality in sensitive situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, as well as familiarity with digital reporting and management systems.
- Fluent command of Ukrainian language is mandatory; good knowledge of English is an advantage.
- Ability to collect, analyze and use data for reporting and decision-making.
