About the team:
The Prom.ua project unites more than 350 specialists who work every day on its efficiency and development. Now the strategic task of the project is verticalization, selection of priority categories of goods and their development. Therefore, we are looking for the first expert /expert with experience working with categories (preferably in e-commerce) who is ready to take on the role of manager trusted vertical in e-commerce.
This is a new position and is part of the Product Team structure of the Prom.ua project. It is from it that the formation of the strategy for the development of priority categories will begin. This role will involve close cooperation with the development, marketing, moderation, and commercial department teams. In the future building your own team for the development of the assigned category.
For this role important:
- deep understanding of online sales tools, marketplaces, SEO, content strategies and analytics
- ability to develop and implement strategies to increase sales
- ability to analyze market, sales data and customer behavior to make informed decisions
- experience managing cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives

Tasks:
- developing and implementing a strategy to increase sales in the category, including defining key products, pricing strategies and approaches to the assortment in the marketplace
- market analysis and competitive environment on an ongoing basis to identify new opportunities for category development, understand trends and adapt strategies to achieve leadership
- organizing team work, setting goals, monitoring results
- optimizing the assortment, working on updating and improving it, adding new products and removing low-margin products, with the aim of improving the overall results of the category
- development and implementation of marketing campaigns: cooperation with the marketing team to launch promotions, promotions and other activities aimed at increasing sales
- tracking and analysis of key indicators, such as sales volume, market share, profitability and other KPIs to assess the effectiveness of the strategy and timely adjustment of approaches
- control of the category budget, optimization of costs and ensuring compliance with the planned profitability indicators
- close cooperation with teams of development, marketing, moderation, commercial department
- analysis of sales and demand to create forecasts, planning order volumes
