Digital printing operator (polygraph operator) in Kompaniya VAITE, TOV

VAITE company is a full-cycle typography (design, layout, printing, post-printing processes). We invite to join the team a digital printing operator who has a technical understanding of printing production.

Printing is carried out on digital equipment Xerox Versant 280 and Xerox PrimeLink B9100.

Requirements

• experience working on digital printing machines or in polygraphy;

• understanding of digital printing technology;

• ability to check and prepare layouts for printing;

• skills laying out layouts on a sheet (imposition);

• basic skills in Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator / CorelDRAW / Adobe Photoshop;

• attention to details, responsibility;

• ability to work with different types of paper.

Responsibilities

• printing printed products on digital machines;

• preparing and setting up equipment for printing;

• checking layouts before printing (preflight);

• laying out layouts on a sheet, adding technical marks for cutting;

• setting print parameters (format, paper density, printing modes);

• controlling the quality of prints during printing;

• controlling the use of paper and consumables materials;

• basic maintenance of equipment;

• transfer of finished products to post-printing processes.
