DevSecOps/Cloud Security Engineer in Intetics

Intetics Inc., an American leading global technology company providing custom software application development, distributed professional teams, software product quality assessment, and “all-things-digital” solutions, is looking for a DevSecOps/Cloud Security Engineer to join our team.

We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with extensive AWS experience to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our business’s cloud infrastructure. You will design and build resilient, secure cloud environments that proactively mitigate security threats.
 

Responsibilities:
- Design and build resilient cloud infrastructures protected against security threats.
- Develop and assess cloud security solutions to secure systems, databases, and networks.
- Conduct assessments and provide recommendations to ensure appropriate controls are in place.
- Monitor and analyze logs to gain insights into security incidents and threats.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and implement necessary security measures.
- Shape and enforce the company's security policies, procedures, and standards for cloud environments.
- Create technical and managerial-level security reports for cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
- Implement and test network and security disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor the use of sensitive data and regulate access to safeguard information.
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data during transmission, storage, and processing.
- Review and address violations of security procedures to prevent recurrence.
- Provide support to end users regarding network and security-related issues.

Requirements

- BSc/MSc in Information Security or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the DevOps field.
- At least 2 years of working experience in Information Security with a focus on Cloud Security.
- Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of AWS services (e.g., IAM, Organizations, VPC, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, Config, Inspector, GuardDuty, WAF).
- Strong understanding of current threats to cloud infrastructure and advanced knowledge of securing cloud environments.
- Proven experience in hands-on DevSecOps, including setting up security solutions and securing networks and AWS resources.
- Experience with network security and configuring monitoring tools from a security perspective (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, EFK).
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform) is a plus.
- Expertise in container security is a plus.
- Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud) is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and integrate well within a team.
- Availability to work in the CET timezone.
- Upper-Intermediate level of English.

Nice to Have:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud.
- Expertise in DevSecOps methodologies.
