Data Steward (Specialist in technological support of data management systems) in PrivatBank

Purpose of the position: support of data users, development of the Data Catalog and data management direction.

Main responsibilities:

• Communication with bank employees of different levels and departments
• Maintenance of the Data Catalog - describe data (tables, fields and other entities) as such in such a way that it is clear to data users (analysts, data engineers, etc.) what specific entities are and what they are used for
• Work on building a data lineage (Data Lineage), that is, describe the evolution of data - how they come from primary systems and what happens to them next, build graphs and charts
• Work on Data Discovery - explore data in the Bank in different systems, find personal data
• Configuring and managing specialized Data Discovery tools (for example, for searching and identifying personal data)
• Build rules and processes, describe them in documentation, implement management processes data

Basic requirements:

• Higher education
• 2+ years of experience in a bank
• Any experience working with data (as an analyst, etc.) 1+ years< /li>
• Understanding SQL query language Ability to write scripts of moderate complexity (selects with conditions, JOINs, etc.) and read complex scripts as well develop these skills
• High level of communication skills, including oral communication and business correspondence
• Ability to organize and conduct meetings
• Understand key business and IT processes of the Bank
• Ability to build business processes
• Ability to build mind maps (in particular, for business processes)
• Able to quickly master new software provision
• Ability to work with the Google office package: documents, tables, presentations
• Attention to details. Ability to look for patterns
• English language: Intermediate +(B1+) it will be necessary to communicate with foreign partners
