Data Processing Officer in ACTED

Assignment

The Data Processing Officer is responsible for supporting the Monitoring, Evaluation, Appraisal, and Learning (MEAL) Unit in a variety of programmatic tasks, including the processes and outputs related to data processing, visualization of the final products. She/he will design and maintain a database of beneficiaries, support the design of visualization products/dashboards with relevant data, provide analytical support to the team.

Objectives< /p>

1. Develop best practices for ACTED Ukraine Database Management and support MEAL leadership in developing and implementing a knowledge management system. 
2. Support program teams in development of data collection and analysis tools related to key technical areas.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, GIS, Statistics, Information Systems, Social Sciences or any relevant discipline;
• Fluency in Ukrainian and Russian required, English is an advantage;
• Essential minimum technical qualifications:
  1. Advanced skills with MS Excel;
  2. Experience with mobile data collection tools (ODK, KOBO) design;
• Data visualization experience using Power BI;
• Abilability to lead a team and manage other staff;
• Flexibility and adaptability to ever-changing needs and responsibilities;
• Ability to work independently, willingness to learn;
• Good organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
• Previous experience with NGOs is an advantage; 
• Familiarity with the aid system and understanding of donor and governmental requirements is an advantage;
