Role purpose
Data entry clerk are responsible for inputting and maintaining data in computer systems and databases. Their role is to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the data they handle.
Tasks
1. Reviewing records for accuracy
2. Inputting information into databases
3. Inputting reports into Clusters data system (Activity info)
4. Updating databases with new or revised information as necessary
5. Performing regular backups of information to ensure data preservation
6. Retrieving records and electronic files from the database
7. Sorting and organizing paper records or notes after data entry
8. Preparing digital materials or files for printing
9. Providing te with requested data or information
10. Assist in managing and organizing data, ensuring it is easily accessible to the team.
11. Collaborating with other team members to gather information for data entry.
12. Verifying the completeness and accuracy of information received from various sources.
Minimum requirements
Proficiency in basic computer software, including MS Excel, Access, and other tools.
