DESCRIPTION

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Analyst to join our trading clearing solutions
team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years experience, with in-depth knowledge and
understanding of Markets Clearing activities and related processes in connection to Central
Counterparties (CCP), familiarity with Risk Management frameworks and Financial Markets accounting
activities, coupled with a strong understanding of Java and OpenShift technologies (even if not directly
involved in the development process). This role requires excellent analytical skills, the ability to work
with cross-functional teams and a deep understanding of system operations and business processes,
with the main purpose of acting as a trusted technical liason between business analysis, development,
testing, delivery and post-delivery operations.

• Technical Analysis and Documentation
o Analyze business / functional requirements and translate them into technical
specifications
o Document technical designs, processes and configurations
o Evaluate and recommend technical solutions to meet business needs, considering nonfunctional specifications as well
o Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users
o Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to clearing ecosystem

• System Operations
o Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure high availability and reliability
o Support the deployment and management of applications on cloud platforms such as
RedHat OpenShift
o Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols for deployed applications
o Perform regular system maintenance and upgrades to ensure system stability and
performance.
o Troubleshoot and resolve any application issues in a timely manner
o Collaborate with IT operations and ServiceDesk teams to ensure seamless operation of
applications

• Development and Maintenance
o Implement and manage continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
o Automate system operations tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
o Debug and resolve technical issues and defects in a timely manner

• Database Management
o Analyze data requirements and design efficient databases
o Interact with databases using SQL
o Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues related to database operations
o Ensure database security and backup procedures are properly implemented
o Collaborate with database administrators to manage database configurations and deployments

• Collaboration and Communication
o Work closely withdevelopers, system administrators and business analysts to gather
requirements and deliver technical solutions.
o Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders to explain technical concepts
and solutions
o Consult with functional analysts in designing solutions to ensure they meet technical
requirements and business objectives

• Documentation and Reporting
o Document technical processes, system configurations, and user manuals
o Prepare and present technical reports and status updates to stakeholders
o Maintain accurate records of system performance and technical issues
• Continuous Improvement

o Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to trading / clearing
/ risk domains and Java-based systems operations
o Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes to enhance
productivity and efficiency
o Participate in technical training and development opportunities to enhance professional
knowledge
Qualifications & Competences
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in a development related role with technical background in Java
techstacks, out of which at least 3 years of proven experience in a technical leadership or
integrative role
• Experienced with Red Hat OpenShift container platform and proficient in providing technical
support for OpenShift users
• Experienced in deploying and managing applications on OpenShift, proficient in using

OpenShift Web Console and CLI (oc)
• Good understanding of OpenShift architecture and components
• Skilled in monitoring and logging tools for OpenShift (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
• Knowledge of OpenShift security best practices
• Experience with IBM WebSphere for application deployment and management
• Skilled in Java / TypeScript development
• Solid knowledge of SQL
• Familiarity with Unix-like systems and bash scripting
• Familiarity with major web application frameworks and databases
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (like AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to have
• Knowledge of Financial Markets Clearing activities and the assets cleared by the Central
Counterparty Clearing House (CCP)
• Understanding of Central Counterparty Clearing House (CCP) relations with other entities such
as Markets, Central Securities Depositories (CSD) and Central Bank
• Skilled in configuring OpenShift routes and ingress controllers
• Knowledge of OpenShift operators and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and knowledge of

OpenShift RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
• Experienced with OpenShift Pipelines (Tekton) for CI/CD
• Proficient in writing and managing OpenShift YAML manifests
• Proficient in configuring and managing persistent storage on OpenShift
• Relevant certifications related to technical domains and / or system operations
