Since 2014, the 17th Poltava Raid Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine has been performing service-combat tasks in the combat zone in eastern Ukraine, guarding strategic objects, checkpoints and ensuring law and order in the frontline regions. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the unit took part in combat operations in the Volnova, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhya and Sumy directions. In 2024, the unit was reorganized into a brigade. In the same year, the unit was awarded the honorary name "Poltava", and in March 2025, the state award "For Courage and Courage" was awarded for the heroism shown in the battles for the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
Responsibilities
- construction, optimization and support ETL/ELT pipelines for processing data from various sources (API, files, manually filled data)
- implementation of data collection, cleaning, normalization, transformation and enrichment processes
- integration with Microsoft Azure cloud services (Functions, Blob Storage, Logic Apps, etc.)
- deployment and maintenance of pipelines in the cloud environment (CI/CD, logging, monitoring)
- work with PostgreSQL: schema design, query optimization, indexing
- preparation of structured datasets for the BI team and building reports in Power BI
- cooperation with analysts and the product team to ensure data availability and create data products
- analysis and elimination of errors in data processing logic, maintaining the stability of pipelines
- participation in the development of the data warehouse architecture, recommendations on the structure of the database data
- documenting the structure of pipelines, data sources, DB schemas and processing business logic
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or Back-End Engineer with a focus on working with data
- practical experience in developing ETL/ELT processes
- solid knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational DBMS: creation of structures, queries, optimization
- understanding and experience of working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- knowledge of Python or another language for writing data processing scripts
- experience of working with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau): preparation of datasets and metrics
- experience of working with GitHub, GitLab, task management systems
- understanding of principles building a reliable and scalable data pipeline
- ability to work both in a team and independently
- desire to constantly learn and improve your skills
- ability to quickly adapt to the situation and make informed decisions

- mobilization until the end of martial law or contract service
