DATA ANALYST ACTIVITY MANAGER
Doctors without borders / Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) is an international humanitarian organization that provides assistance in more than 60 countries of the world to the population in a difficult situation, victims of natural disasters, man-made disasters and armed conflicts, regardless of their race, religion or political beliefs.< /p>

Main purpose:
Define, coordinate and monitor all activities related to data, including the processes of collection, analysis, reporting , monitoring and evaluating data in accordance with MSF protocols, standards and procedures in order to provide high-quality specialized care to beneficiaries and their communities, as well as to improve the health of the population.
Responsibilities:
- For supporting the HQ Medical Statistics Officer, creating, revising and adapting data collection tools according to project metrics, and coordinating the development, implementation and follow-up of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for documentation. Develop and implement data quality assurance methods to properly perform operations and ensure information integrity while treating all patient information with respect and confidentiality.
- Provide technical support to dedicated team and data entry staff in performing routine registration, collection and data entry for selected project indicators in clinics and/or hospitals and/or medical centers. Organization and implementation or provision of technical support in the creation of monitoring tools for new types of activities initiated within the framework of the project.
- Monthly, quarterly or upon request to carry out a detailed analysis of the data of registrars according to the key indicators of the project in order to contribute to the definition, redefinition or reorientation of project activity. This will also include analysis of District Cohort Data (DDS), where available. After analyzing, identifying and reporting any new and interesting indicators for review by the profile team for possible follow-up if necessary.
- In order to ensure quality, manage and oversee the work of the data team, including the definition of needs in educationchanney and conducting trainings on data-related issues.
- With the support of the HR department, planning and control of relevant processes (recruitment, training/onboarding, assessment, identification of potential, motivation, development and internal communication ) in the data team to ensure the team is of the right size, skills and abilities.
- Participate in meetings and/or trainings as scheduled by supervisor or MSF. This includes, but is not limited to, MSF internal meetings and/or trainings, as well as local, regional or international meetings and/or trainings.
- Monthly and in collaboration with the relevant team, prepare and submit summary reports on analyzed data for both MOH and MSF, and preparation and implementation of internal monthly or quarterly presentation of MSF data profiles, including facilitating team discussion and exchange of information to increase the dynamism and efficiency of the team.
- Performance of additional tasks if necessary and at the request of the manager.
Features of the MSF unit: strong>
- Providing remote technical support to the data management team in other projects (based in Dnipro, Mykolaiv and Cherkasy), as well as visiting them according to pre-arranged schedules.
- Work in the position of supervisor profile coordinator in Ukraine. Technical support is provided remotely by a representative from the headquarters - for this, an English language level of at least B2 is required.
- Working with Outlook, Excel, PowerBI and Kobo services, which are used for data collection and analysis.
- Regular reporting (weekly and monthly) using existing templates.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Minimum degree (or master's degree) in medical statistics or public health with advanced training in statistics preferred.
- Specialization or training in tropical diseases.
Experience:
Knowledge of languages: fluent Ukrainian; knowledge of English.
