ZEST Outsourcing announces a competition to fill the vacant position "Coordinatorfor the provision of technical support for the Better Care system for children" to implement the program of building a system of better care for children in communities.Main duties:Preparation of reports, including a work plan , methodology and the approved scheme of interaction.Development of the program implementation strategy.Support of the regional working group on the implementation of the Better Care system.

ZEST Outsourcing announces a competition to fill the vacant position "Coordinatorfor the provision of technical support for the Better Care system for children" to implement the program of building a system of better care for children in communities.

Main duties:

  • Preparation of reports, including a work plan , methodology and the approved scheme of interaction.

  • Development of the program implementation strategy.

  • Support of the regional working group on the implementation of the Better Care system.

  • working group, analytical materials and work plans.

  • Advocacy of the mechanism of social ordering for the provision of social services both at the level of the region and at the level of the community (for pilot communities).

  • Help in assessing the potential of communities and the needs of children's services workers and service providers.

  • Development of training programs and plans.

  • Development of a monitoring and evaluation system.

  • Development and implementation of integrated social services, including alternative options for family care.

  • >Readiness for business trips around the region.

Requirements for candidates:

  • Higher education (bachelor ) in the field of social sciences, psychology, law or related fields.

  • 2 years of work experience in social services, social protection, protection or child welfare.

  • Experience in project management and project coordination.

  • Experience in cooperation with state institutions, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders.

  • Experience in analyzing and tracking public expenditures at the state and/or local levels.

  • Clear understanding of social protection policies and programs in Ukraine;

  • Experience in providing coordinator services for international organizations will be an added advantage.

  • Experienced user of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and internet surfing .

  • Fluency in the Ukrainian language.

  • English — Elementary level.

  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze diverse and complex information from a wide range of sources to make analytical statements to inform decision-making.

  • Dedication to child protection.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. 

  • Strong skills of self-organization, teamwork.

  • Ability to adapt and solve problems in the face of challenges during project implementation. 

Terms of employment:

  • Official premployment.

  • Work schedule: part-time employment.
  • Place of work: Uzhhorod / Khmelnytskyi / Chernivtsi.
