1.Background
During 2024, Ukraine has faced increased mandatory evacuations due to intensified hostilities and attacks in frontline areas, putting civilians at immediate risk. According to UN OCHA Protection Cluster partners, over 500,000 people still require transportation and access to essential services, while funding for local organizations supporting evacuations continues to decrease.
Team4UA addresses these gaps through a holistic response under the EASE and ACCESS projects, ensuring safe evacuation of civilians from high-risk areas and providing essential support services and inclusive temporary accommodation in safer regions. Team4UA is a Ukrainian charitable organization established in March 2022, working with UN agencies, international partners, and local actors to deliver high-impact humanitarian assistance across Ukraine.
2.Position Overview
The Communication Associate will support the communications function across ongoing projects, campaigns, and partnerships. This role focuses on implementation, coordination, and day-to-day execution of communication tasks, working closely with the Communications Manager and other teams. The Communication Associate will contribute to external visibility and outreach activities, ensuring quality, clarity, and consistency of communication materials and messaging across platforms.

6. Supervision and Reporting
The Communication Associate will report to the Communications Manager and will coordinate closely with project teams and relevant internal staff to ensure timely delivery of communication and visibility outputs.

2. Job Description
Assistant Communications Manager will provide support to the organization's communications function within ongoing projects, campaigns and partnership initiatives. The position involves performing daily communication tasks, coordinating materials and preparing content in close collaboration with the Communications Manager and other teams. The role is important for ensuring external visibility of Team4UA activities, high-quality donor coverage, brand recognition and effective communication with various audiences.

Education
Experience
Experience in a similar position, in particular in the field of digital communications (preferably in social / humanitarian projects).
Understanding current trends in the field of communications and the ability to apply them to support of outreach, audience engagement and development of information campaigns.
Technical skills
Confident command of graphic tools (Figma or Adobe).
Basic understanding of working with systems content management (for example, WordPress or similar).
Good skills in writing, editing and adapting texts.
Languages
Fluency in Ukrainian and English required.
Competencies
Analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Reporting and reporting
The Assistant Communications Manager reports to the Communications Manager and works in coordination with project teams and relevant departments to ensure timelypreparation of communication and information materials.
7. Duration and place of work
Duration: 6 months (with the possibility of extension)
Place of work: Kyiv/ Lviv (possible remote work format)
