Commercial Trainee in Luyi Dreyfus Kompani Ukrayina

The program teaches the basics of world grain trade and prepares for a successful career as a trader in LDCs. 
 
The program is designed for 12 months. During this time, the intern will work in 6 departments, where he will get practical experience in grain trading and get to know the business processes of the company from the inside.
 
Stages of the program:

1.Department for the execution of contracts (2 months, Kyiv)
Participants will acquire skills in following contracts for the supply of grain crops and paying invoices for the delivered goods. 
2. Logistics department: road and rail transportation (2 months, Kyiv)
Participants will learn the organization of the logistics chain of grain supply: grain warehouses > wagons/trucks > marine grain terminals.
3. Department for support of export operations  (2 months, Kyiv)
Participants will gain experience in support of grain loading operations on ships and shipping/arrival of ships on a voyage. 
4. Department of analytics  (2 months, Kyiv)
 Participants will gain experience in drawing up commercial balance sheets of grain crops in Ukraine and around the world. 
5. Elevator of the company (2 months, Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions)
Participants will learn the main technical processes of the elevator and analysis of grain quality in laboratories.
6. Cereal Procurement Unit (2 months, Region)
Participants will deal with regional procurement of cereals,  develop relationships with farmers and close deals.
 
Upon successful completion Commercial Trainee program, trainees will receive an offer from LDC to continue developing in grain trading.
