GENERAL INFORMATION

BF "Right to Defense" (hereinafter - the Fund) is a sector leader in the protection of people who have suffered from war, veterans, refugees and stateless persons. We seek recovery and integration for those we help. Our team protects people's rights and influences laws and decisions in Ukraine and the world to become fairer. We are actively developing a network of partners for localized support of those who need it. The fund is 13 years old. Today, the team of BF "Right to Defense" has about 1,200 specialists. Geography: 22 regions of Ukraine, as well as a representative office in Poland. More than 3,300,000 people have received aid since the start of the full-scale invasion. Our work was recognized at the national level: in 2024, the Foundation won the first place in the "Charity Ukraine" competition in the "All-Ukrainian charity" category, entered the top 10 of the Forbes Ukraine rating of "50 best charitable organizations" and took 9th place in the integrity rating of charitable foundations of Ukraine. Resilience of First Responders" is aimed at protecting and supporting the rights of internally displaced persons, war-affected populations, stateless persons, as well as veterans and their families at the national, local and individual levels. In 2026, the Fund, as part of the project, will monitor the protection of the rights of IDPs and provide free legal assistance to internally displaced persons, stateless persons, veterans and their families in the regions of Ukraine.

The geography of activity includes the Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhya, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Odesa, Poltava and Kirovohrad regions. The territory of implementation may change depending on the security situation and project needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Individual work with managers

  • Conducting individual coaching sessions for managers of different levels (team, program, regional managers);

  • support for complex management situations; text-decoration">work with emotionally loaded cases;"ne">decision making;

  • Supporting managers in the process of professional development;

  • Ensuring confidentiality and ethical work.

  • Development of management skills

    • Development of managers' skills:

      • giving feedback;

      • conflict management;

      • conducting complex conversations;

      • employee support;

      • building a psychologically safe environment;

    • Formation of team dynamics skills;

    • Supporting managers in implementing caring approaches in management.

    Working with teams through managers

    • Consulting of managers regarding: the state of teams, difficult situations in teams, management of team workload and resources, etc.;

    • Supporting managers in responding to: burnout, conflicts, crisis events, etc.;

    • Participation in the development of solutions for team challenges (together with the manager and psychologists-supervisors of the care service).

    Briefings and debriefings with managers

    • Conducting briefings and debriefings for managers;

    • Supporting managers' reflection on their role and influence.

    Documentation and feedback to the system

    • Maintenance of generalized (without personal data) analytics regarding: managers' requests, typical difficulties, development and training needs;

    • Preparation of monthly reports and feedback analysis after coaching sessions;

    • Formation of recommendations for the care service manager;

    • Detection of system management calls in commands;

    • Participation in the preparation of analytical materials.

    Interaction within care service

    • Close cooperation with the care service manager;

    • Interaction with an organizational psychologist and supervising psychologists;

    • Participation in the planning of service activities;

    • Adherence to organization policies and ethical standards.

    PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

    Education and qualification

    • Higher education in psychology, coaching, management or related fields;

    • Professional certification in coaching (ICF or other recognized approaches);

    • Additional training in leadership, organizational development or psychotherapy - would be an advantage;

    • Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches. none">At least 3-5 years of experience in coaching adults;

    • Experience with managers managers;

    • Experience of working in the humanitarian sector or with high workload teams will be an advantage;

    Strong coaching and facilitation skills;

  • Ability to work with complex management situations;

  • The ability to maintain a balance between support and development;

  • ANTICIPATED RESULTS

    During the month

    • 30 individual coaching sessions with managers were held;

    • Increased the quality of management decisions regarding teams;

    • Strengthened the skills of managers in working with people;

    • Reduced the number of escalations of difficult situations in teams;

    • The level of psychological safety in teams has increased;

    • Recommendations for the development of leadership in the organization were formed.
