Job Summary

The Post?Silicon Validation Systems Engineer II is responsible for bringing SiTime's MEMS products to mass production. The role focuses on digital-to-analog post?silicon validation and characterization, system algorithms, and hardware support and test automation. The engineer will perform failure analysis, prototype new system architectures, and collaborate with MEMS, CMOS, Packaging, NPI, Operations, and Marketing departments.

Candidates may be considered for other levels of this position.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:

• Validation, characterization, and mass production of MEMS?products for clocking (oscillators, resonators, and similar)
• Perform failure engineering analysis to identify root causes of product problems
• Collaborate with MEMS and CMOS teams to evaluate designs
• Recommend design improvements to improve performance and stability
• Design and conduct experiments to prototype new product architectures
• Design, development and validation PCB?test platforms and programs for automated data acquisition and analysis
• Algorithm development and transfer to final test and production environments

Qualifications and requirements (education must be specified):

• Bachelor or Master's degree in electrical engineering, radio engineering or metrology
  Exceptional candidates with other by profile
• In-depth knowledge of analog and digital electronics
• Matlab/Python or C++ programming skills
• Experience with electronic measuring devices (multimeters, counters/frequency meters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
• Strong statistical analysis skills
• Understanding of data processing and its presentation
• Understanding of principles layout/tracing and manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCB)
