Hello! This is TATFOOD — a profile platform for finding the best specialists for the food industry.
We are currently looking for a Chief Technologist for our partner, a modern craft cheese factory in Kyiv. Their products are already working successfully in top restaurants and gastro projects, and the company is just now expanding and launching a new production.
We are looking for a leader who is ready to lead processes, become an architect of taste and produce a product that you can be proud of!
Your main mission:Starting a cheese production "from scratch", developing cool products and building a strong technological base company.
What will you do?
Launch processes: setting up a new cheese workshop and quality control at all stages of production.
Pasta Filata group: mozzarella, burrata, stracchatella, ricotta; Pickled and for frying: feta, cheese, suluguni, halloumi; Semi-hard cheeses: cachotta, gouda, edam; Milk and sour milk line: cream cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, ryazhanka, butter, sour cream. Manage the technology: work with dairy raw materials, leavens, enzymes, control the influence of temperature, acidity (pH) and moisture on the cheese structure.
Develop the team: train the shop staff to ensure a stable result of each batch.
What do we expect from you?
Practical experience as a technologist at cheese factories (especially with Pasta Filata exhaust cheeses).
Confident work with production equipment (cheese baths, pasteurizers, packaging lines, etc.).
Experience with the HACCP system, keeping production logs and preparing for audits.
Professional higher education (food technology / milk processing) OR strong specialized courses with extensive practical experience.
Experience in launching new productions and optimizing processes at small/medium-sized enterprises will be a big plus!

Decent remuneration: UAH 50,000/month + bonuses for successful launch of new products.

Schedule: full time, 5/2 (approximately from 08:00 to 18:00).
