"Head Office of the National Social Service Service in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast" in the city of Dnipro is looking for a candidate for the position -

Chief specialist of the department of state control over the observance of children's rights. 

Tasks:

- Carrying out state supervision (control) over the observance of children’s rights in the city of Dnipro and the region;

- Carrying out measures to monitor the observance of children’s rights by services for children, institutions of various types, forms of ownership and subordination, in which children under 18 years of age are accommodated/enrolled for a 24-hour stay, in special institutions for children in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On bodies and services for children and special institutions for children", other institutions of social protection of children; in the families of guardians, custodians, adoptive families, family-type children's homes, families of foster carers;

- Ensuring the collection and summarization of statistical reporting on the observance of the rights of children, including orphans, children deprived of parental care, children who find themselves in difficult life circumstances;

- Implementation of methodical support for the activities of local executive authorities, local bodies self-government; interaction with enterprises, institutions, organizations, institutions, public institutions, conducting information and explanatory work on issues that belong to the competence of the National Social Service.

- Short-term business trips within the region.

Requirements:

1. Higher education by educational degree not lower than bachelor's degree.

2. Work experience in public service positions of category "B" or experience of service in local self-government bodies, or experience of work in public service of 1 year or more.

- Knowledge of Ukrainian legislation in the field of protection of children's rights;

- High communication skills and ability to work in a team.
