Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Payment System in Human Capital Ukraine

For our client, who is launching a new payment system in the Ukrainian market, we are looking for a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will build a reliable, scalable and regulatory compliant business operating model.

This is a role for a system leader who can combine fintech speed with flawless operational discipline.

Key tasks:

• Building and implementing the operational model of the payment system

• Setting up internal processes: processing, customer support, partner onboarding, calculations

• Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the NBU and current legislation

• Risk management, anti-fraud processes and control of quality

• Organization of interaction with partner banks, processing centers, technological contractors

• Development and implementation of internal policies and procedures (KYC, AML, compliance)

• Formation and management of the operational team

• Control of SLA, stability of transaction processes and continuity of work systems

• Optimizing costs and increasing operational efficiency

Our candidate:

• Has experience in fintech / banking / payment services from 10 years

• Understands the architecture of payment infrastructure and processing principles

• Has practical experience in implementing KYC/AML and working with regulator

• Experience in launching new financial products or services will be an advantage

• Systematic, attentive to details, focused on risk control

• Has managerial experience and the ability to build cross-functional interaction

• Proficient in English at the level of professional communication
