The East SOS charity fund has been uniting those who care about the future of Ukraine since 2014. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, we have significantly expanded our activities in order to save as many victims of Russian aggression as possible. We help the population in all government-controlled territories: evacuate and resettle, repair shelters and centers for displaced persons, document alleged war crimes, implement training programs, transfer charitable assistance, we carry out monitoring visits, advocate for changes, provide legal and psychological consultations. Regional psychosocial and legal support teams operate in Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro and Mykolaiv.

Vinnytsia, offline; style="font-weight: 400; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none">departures to transit centers in Lozova (Kharkiv region) and Pavlograd (Dnipropetrovsk region);

Tasks:

1. Case management in communities and institutions:

• conducting individual consultations with people in difficult life circumstances;

• identification of the individual support plan;

legal services;

• redirection to partner organizations and services according to the request;

• consulting veterans and families of servicemen, veterans, dead, captured and missing persons;

• maintenance of case documentation in compliance with the principles of confidentiality and ethics.

2. Transit centers (Lozova, Pavlograd):

• conducting initial meetings, providing basic support and psychosocial counseling of evacuees;

• providing information about services and resources available in transit, in the destination community, and through partner organizations;

• supporting people in crisis (psychological first aid, escorting to MTP);

• consulting on social rights, types of assistance, relocation opportunities.

3. Space of psychosocial and legal support "Zatyshno space" from BF "East SOS":

• individual and group counseling;

• preparation and holding of social events;

• creating a supportive and safe environment for visitors.

4. Informational and educational activities:

• preparation and holding of information sessions for communities and various target groups;

• outings to communities and residential care homes;

• participation in external events, professional communities and educational initiatives.

We expect:

• experience in the field of social work, case management or related 2+ years;

• higher education in the field of social work, psychology or related fields;

• experience in counseling people who have experienced traumatic events or belong to vulnerable groups;

• knowledge of the current legislation in the field of human rights;

reporting;

• compliance with professional ethics and confidentiality;

• availability of a driver's license advantage.
