The main goal of the Organization is: providing a wide range of social services and creating conditions for the sustainable functioning of the public health system at the level of best international practices.

OVERVIEW OF THE PROJECT

BO "Light of Hope" started implementation of the project "Innovative educational and social initiatives to support the vulnerable population of the Sumy region" implemented with the support of Swiss Solidarity. This project is aimed at promoting the creation of a safe, inclusive and fair environment for learning and development, ensuring access to education for women and children and combating gender-based violence at the level of 4 communities of the Sumy region: Konotopsk, Romensk and Sumy. The project implementation period is 01.11.2024-31.10.2025.

For the successful implementation of the project, the organization of the service provider case manager to work in the outreach team in the city of Romny.

< p>Main functions:

Description of services

In particular, the responsibilities of the outreach team case manager include:

  • Conducting information sessions on field trips in the Sumy region: Conducting information sessions for women and girls regarding the problems of gender-based violence and SEN. The sessions are aimed at raising awareness, providing information about available support structures in cases of violence and distributing information booklets and leaflets.
  • Providing psychosocial support and counseling: The case manager should provide counseling and individual assistance to victims of gender-based and domestic violence . This includes: managing cases with an individualized plan to overcome negative consequences.
  • Working with clients to develop safety plans for exiting abusive relationships and ensuring the safety of victims.
  • Information collection and analysis : Analyze the information gathered in the process of working with clients to determine their needs and prepare recommendations.
  • Coordination with other organizations: Interaction with other social services and organizations in order to provide comprehensive support to beneficiaries. Referral to specialized services.
  • Documentation and reporting: Keeping documentation of work with clients and reporting on services provided.

Professional requirements:< /p>

  • Education: Higher (social work, psychology)
  • Experience: Work experience in counseling and support of persons who have experienced stressful situations or traumatic events.
  • Understanding of cultural differences and gender aspects.
  • High level of communication skills and ability to work effectively with other team members and patients.
  • Understanding of legislation related to victims' rights and confidentiality of information.
