We are looking for a generalist for strengthening the team, namely working with Visa/Mastercard card payment authorization and processing systems.
The role involves participation in the support and monitoring of critical transaction processing systems (POS, ATM, online payments), incident analysis and interaction with banks, acquirers and processing centers.
The key focus is card technologies, transaction processing, authorization, clearing, 3DS.
Getting feedback!
- Knowledge of the working principles of Visa/Mastercard, clearing and processing.
- Basic SQL: confident SELECT, JOIN, filtering, working with logs and service tables.
- Oracle: understanding the structure of the database, the ability to see plans, basic ideas about triggers/procedures.
- RHEL/Linux: basic commands, viewing logs, working with systemd, network utilities (netstat/ss, tcpdump for initial diagnostics).
- Understanding of the principles of online authorization of payment transactions (ISO 8583 - at least at the level of the message structure, the transaction life cycle).
- Experience with processing, monitoring or high availability systems.
-Ability to understand causes, not symptoms.
- Attention to details, discipline in working with critical systems.
- Ability to work in conditions of high responsibility and constant interaction with colleagues.

- Analysis of incorrect transactions, analysis of codes, interaction with processing/acquirers/banks.
- Support of integrations with external systems (processing, bank ABS, anti-fraud).

- Participation in testing changes, releases, updates.
- Insights into monitoring systems (Zabbix, Grafana)- Basic basics of information security systems.
