Business Analyst / Business Analyst in Onseo

We are looking for Business Analyst level Middle, to join the new FinTech project, which is being developed from scratch. Our client is building a modern financial platform with scalable architecture and specialized market-specific functionality, including payment solutions and cryptocurrency capabilities.

Business analyst will be responsible for the full cycle of work with the requirements, close cooperation with stakeholders and experts, as well as clear and structured communication between the business and the development team. Required skills and qualifications:

• From 3 years experience as a Business analyst in software development projects;
• Practical experience of participation in projects created from scratch;
• Deep understanding of SDLC and the role of a business analyst at all stages of product development;
• Practical experience with user stories and acceptability criteria, backlog managementand prioritization of requirements;
• Experience of working closely with cross-functional teams (PM, architects, developers, QA);
• Confident use of Jira and Confluence;
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills;
• Ability to work with unclear, incomplete or changing, requirements; English language level—Upper Intermediate (oral and written).

Will be a plus:

• Experience in FinTech, payment systems, or projects related to cryptocurrency or blockchain;
• Understanding payment processes, basic principles working with cryptocurrencies, wallets, transactions, KYC/AML (from a business perspective);
• Experience in Kanban and Scrum environments;
• Experience with UI/UX artifacts and prototypes (eg Figma);
• Knowledge of BPMN / UML or other modeling methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collect, analyze and formalize business requirements for FinTech platform, which is developed from scratch;
• Create and maintain user stories, acceptance criteria, diagrams and other results of the work of a business analyst;
• Manage requirements at all stages SDLC: From Idea to Release;
• Prioritize the product to-do list in collaboration with stakeholders and the development team;
• Conduct workshops, interviews and facilitate discussions with project managers, architects, developers and QA;
• Ensure transparent and structured communication between the business and the technical team;
• Process unclear or incomplete requirements, refine them and bring them to development readiness;
• Analyze business processes, propose optimizations and participate in the creation of the architectural vision of the product;
• Work with documentation in Jira and Confluence, support its relevance;
• If necessary, interact with UI/UX and check design compliance with requirements;
• Cooperate with the team on the formation of roadmaps and release plans.

  The Business Analyst will take full ownership of requirements management, collaborate closely with stakeholders and subject-matter experts, and maintain clear, structured communication between the business side and the development team.

  Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of experience as a Business Analystin software development projects;
  • Proven experience working on greenfield/product-from-scratch projects;
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and the BA role at all stages of product development;
  • Hands-on experience with user stories and acceptance criteria, backlog management, and requirements. prioritization;
  • Experience working closely with cross-functional teams (PM, Architects, Developers, QA);
  • Confident use of Jira and Confluence;
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills;
  • Ability to work with ambiguous, incomplete, or evolving requirements;
  • Upper — Intermediate level of English (spoken and written).

  Nice to Have:

  • Experience in FinTech, payments, escrow platforms, crypto or blockchain-related projects;
  • Understanding of payment flows, cryptocurrency basics, wallets, transactions, KYC/AML (from a business perspective);
  • Experience working in Kanban and Scrum environments;
  • Experience with UI/UX artifacts and prototypes (e.g. Figma);
  • Knowledge of BPMN / UML or other modeling techniques.

  • Analyze business processes, propose improvements, and contribute to shaping the product’s architectural vision;
  • Maintain documentation in Jira and Confluence, ensuring it stays up to date;
  • Collaborate with UI/UX when needed and verify that the designs align with requirements;
  • Work with the team on defining the product roadmap and release plans.
