Assistant to the emergency response coordinator in the Kyiv region in Region Karpat, MFOZNS / NEEKA

MFOZNS "Carpathian Region"organizes a competition for the position of assistant coordinator for responding to emergency situations in the city of Kyiv, on full-time terms.

Requirements for the candidate:

-Higher education in the field of management, sociology and humanitarianism or related specialties.

-Work experience of 2-3 years in the field of humanitarian response, crisis management.

-Desirable work experience in the field of civil protection or coordination of assistance to victims of emergency situations.

-Knowledge of the basics of humanitarian law, principles of humanitarian aid and security standards.

-Ability to organize and coordinate the work of a team in stressful and fast-paced conditions of changes.

-High communication skills and diplomacy.

Responsibilities: 

1. Support the emergency response coordinator in the planning and implementation of measures.

2. Assistance in the collection, systematization and analysis of data on the victim population.

3.Maintenance of documentation, preparation of reports and analytical materials.

4.Coordination of the work of field teams within the scope of the coordinator’s assignments.

5.Interaction with local authorities, partners and volunteers.

6.Logistic support and provision of the teams’ needs (transport, equipment, materials).

7.Observance of safety and humanitarian standards principles.

8. Notification of the coordinator about risks, problems or resource needs.
