Art editor in the design department in Folio, TOV, Vidavnictvo

Requirements:

• Work experience of at least 2 years
• Responsibility, sociability, discipline.
• Knowledge of the methods of developing artistic publishing projects
• Ability to process graphic materials
• Ability to work with fonts
• Knowledge of artistic design standards publications
• Fluency in computer programs: Adobe PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDessign, CorelDRAW
• Knowledge of the rules and procedures for preparing projects for printing
• Familiarity with printing technology

Art editor performs the following duties:

1. Engages in artistic editing of materials that are sent to the editorial office, and their preparation for printing. This includes the editing and design of illustrations, the development of artistic design, the preparation of the cover and binding, etc.
2. Performs the graphic design of the publication
3. Acceptance and correction of works sent by freelancers
4. Checking the originals received by the publication from the point of view of their quality and compliance with technical requirements, as well as the possibility of their use
5. Conclusion of contracts with specialists who are involved publishing house to perform graphic works (freelance designers)
6. Development of options for artistic design of publications.
7. Preparation and verification of files for delivery to production
