As Experience Consultant you will be is responsible for scoping the key deliverables of a client project by exploring the client problem within workshops/ engagements. You will play a crucial role in setting the project direction, leads stakeholder interviews and define the outputs required to respond to the problem statement. You will be part of the team deciding how the engagement is designed and managed - with strategic direction provided by Director/Senior Director of Experience Consulting, and is responsible for high quality delivery, on time, budget and in alignment with client expectation.

To be successful as this role you need to have significant experience of running multiple client engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and pain points, documenting feedback and relaying it to the appropriate internal teams
  • Collaborating with your design, product, and engineering partners to lead the squad, set the vision, define strategy and coach the teams to deliver it
  • Identify process improvements to enhance the customer experience
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and other departments
  • Participate in customer focus groups and user testing sessions
  • Lead and support the facilitation of client workshops and frames discussions with stakeholders
  • Leads one of the multiple tasks within project workshops/engagement
  • Creation of deliverables: i.e. opportunity maps, user journeys, prototypes, blueprints, storyboards, and concepts
  • Focus on exploring the future balanced with understanding how to exploit what’s available today whether it’s people, processes, or technology. You are inspired and enthused by people’s behaviors, trends that are emerging, how services are crafted, and how touch-points are orchestrated
  • Design and participate in user interviews, interpreter of data, and recommendations based on key trends. Ensure all work on a project is carried out to the highest quality and to client expectation
  • Defining and scoping project deliverables in response to problem statements
  • Lead and identification of key themes from stakeholder interviews
  • Leads workshops from ideation through to validation and develop core concepts and responses from initial ideation sessions
  • Broader research planning and user journey development/creation of blueprints- Coordinating with external teams such as solution architects and business analysts
  • Research, market and competitor analysis (oversight and responsibility)

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience
  • Significant experience in managing multiple client engagements
  • Creativity, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work seamlessly in teams
  • Familiarity with human-centered design methodologies
  • Strong design leadership skills to elevate quality and alignment
  • Proficiency in customer feedback analysis and process improvement
  • Proficiency in conducting user research and translating insights into strategic recommendations
  • Strong facilitation skills for workshops and design thinking sessions
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and clients
  • Quickly gaining insight and expertise from research within client industry
  • Increased engagement with clients and project owners
  • Thinking strategically about whether the client brief and interpretation of the problem is accurate and aligned to broader business challenges
  • Gaining more expertise in creating broader value propositions based on future service and products
  • Stay up to date with client issues, disrupt and develop new methodologies to continue to evolve the design offering and secure relevance
  • Fluent knowledge of English - C1+
