DevOps System Engineer for GCP Practice in EPAM Ukraine

Skills

• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• Experience writing applications/scripts using languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, C++ or similar
• Experience in maintenance and support of production-grade systems deployed in cloud platforms
• Extensive experience working with the most popular providers of cloud solutions
• Experience in managing internal and client projects, finding and solving technical problems of clients, working with customers, engineering teams, sales teams
• Experience with orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos)
• Experience with high-load technologies such as load balancers, firewalls and web standards (REST APIs, web security mechanisms)
• Hands-on experience with automated configuration and infrastructure deployment technologies (such as Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Terraform)
• Understanding of IT security practices such as encryption, security certificates and access key management
• Experience related to migrations from AWS, Azure to GCP
• Experience with open source services (such as NGINX, RabbitMQ, Redis, Elasticsearch)
• Technical problem solving skills
• Communication skills to implement changes and new technologies

Responsibilities

• Work as a technical advisor on solving problems related to DevOps and Google Cloud infrastructure
• Participation in meetings with the client in video format
