DevOps Engineer in EPAM Ukraine

Our client is a big oil company. The domain is creating a tool for aggregating results of various types from various sources.

The application leverages micro-services architectural patterns and is deployed to AKS. External protection is provided by using Application Gateway and Azure SQL Databases is used as a storage tier.

Experience in ITSM is required: Incidents Management, Problem Management, Change Management.

Responsibilities

• Operate application build pipelines – CI (already in place)
• Operate application delivery/deployment pipelines – CD
• Automate maintenance operations using scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash
• Application and System Monitoring, troubleshooting, issues, and bags fixes etc
• Participate call with customer, troubleshoot on-line being on call with the real users
• Comprehensive hands-on in the list of technologies above
• Ability to work with App Insights and Log Analytics
• Develop new and modify existing queries and alerts
• Troubleshooting issues
• Document RCA
• Communication with clients

Requirements

• 2+ year of relevant experience
• Experience with such technologies as Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps CI/CD, Kubernetes (AKS), Helm, Microsoft Azure: AD SSO & AD FS
• Experience with Log Analysis, App Insight
• Knowledge of Deployment Automation
• Familiarity with Bash and PowerShell scripting
• Certificates SSL/TLS (.Net and Java)
• Experience with Apache Kafka
• Experience with Microsoft Azure SQL Databases
• Intermediate or higher English level, both spoken and written (B1+)
