Data Technology Consultant in EPAM Ukraine

DESCRIPTION

EPAM Data practice is looking for a Data Technology Consultant who will actively participate in global pre-sale activities and cooperate with clients in the field of Cloud Migration Service Offering.

What will you do in this role?

• Conducting pre-sales and consulting clients on possible technical solutions
• Development of the project solution and its validation with the client (technical solution, execution time, composition of the development team)
• Planning and management of the discovery phase of the project, holding kickoff sessions, technical consulting when transferring the project directly to the development stage
• Collaborate at the global EPAM Data practice level with solution architects, technical leaders to develop a project architecture that meets strategic business needs

Duties

• Designing, building and maintaining robust Google Anthos clusters for our suite of internal applications
• Automation of clusters to increase speed and efficiency, optimize system performance
• Lead the migration of applications from RedHat OpenShift to Google Anthos, ensuring a smooth transition
• Manage and maintain source code integrity through change and version control
• Collaborate synergistically with development and operations teams to successfully implement and continuously manage DevOps best practices
• Work directly with Google Cloud Platform to build and deploy Anthos-based architectures
• Solve complex problems in both production and non-production environments, providing critical support to maintain system performance and stability

Our ideal candidate

• Technical education
• 3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect in the field of data (BI, ETL; Cloud Data Platfrom, Legacy Data platfroms (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, etc))
• 2+ years of pre-sale customer experience
• Mandatory knowledge and practical experience with AWS or Azure or GCP
• Experience in managing end-to-end solution development projects, understanding SDLC
• Ability to manage client expectations and present project solutions to stakeholders
• Knowledge of the English language at the C1 level
