Wildix is looking for a VoIP QA Engineer in Wildix

Wildix is looking for a QA Engineer to deliver high-quality software products through continuous application quality control.

As a member of our QA team, you'll be directly responsible for the production quality of our products. On a daily basis, you'll work with our talented engineering team and your decisions and actions will have a direct impact on the millions of users who rely on Wildix products for their daily work.

Responsibilities:

• Manual testing of hardware devices (Desktop Phones, Gateways, Video Conferencing, Mobile Phones, Headsets, etc.)
• Manual testing of server applications and systems
• Manual testing of native mobile applications Android, iOS
• Regression testing
• Defects management in the bug-tracking system
• Test documentation management
• Collaboration with developers

Requirements:

• 2+ years of backend software testing experience 
• Proficient at Quality Assurance methodologies and processes
• Knowledge of network technologies, OSI model, DNS, DHCP
• English skills (reading and writing documentation).

As a plus:

• Experience with Linux (as a user)
• Experience with Hardware testing
• Experience with mobile applications testing
• Experience with using network protocol analyzers such as Wireshark, tcpdump
• Experience with VoIP
• Experience with MSSQL / MySQL (configuration / basic queries)
• Basic knowledge of programming language (Python / Lua / Bash)
