Description:

We are looking for a Tableau Engineer to join our ambitious project dedicated to one of the Clients of our Fin-tech portfolio. You will be working as a part of the distributed cross-functional Scrum team based in Poland. You will be responsible for building highly interactive, customizable Tableau reports for large datasets. In this role, you will blend data to create powerful dashboards, and create action filters, parameters, and calculations for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau.

We are an enthusiastic team, tightly integrated with the Customer and empowered for business and technical decisions. This Project is a part of the long-term Program Plan.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Tableau Development Experience
• Proficiency in the design and development of various dashboards, and reports utilizing Tableau Visualizations like bar graphs, scatter plots, pie-charts, geographic visualization, and others making use of actions, and other local and global filters according to the end user requirement
• Strong knowledge of database management in writing complex SQL queries, Stored procedures, database tuning, query optimization and resolving key performance issues
• Strong Experience in Oracle database technologies SQL and PL/SQL
• Sound knowledge in creating and executing SQL and PL/SQL scripts
• Proficient with Oracle, SQL Server and other major RDBMS
• Experience in BO reporting by executing canned reports, and ad-hoc reporting as per the reporting requirements drafted by the Business team
• Strong analytical, time management and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Excellent language skills (English)
• Methodologies: Complete Software Development Lifecycle, Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative Analysis Tools – will be a plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and conduct unit testing
• Connect Tableau to a database and create designed dashboards
• Format, align, and improve the look and feel of the dashboards
• Provide technical expertise in areas of architecture, design, and implementation
• Test the quality of data by comparing the output of the dashboard with the database
• Work with team members to create useful reports and dashboards that provide insight and add value
• Ensure consistency by following a set of software coding and style guides
• Publish dashboards on servers and define user access controls
• Carry out data collecting, cleaning, and modeling
