CUSTOMER
We cooperate with a US-based startup. The main company’s values are result orientation and high performance.

PROJECT
The platform you will be working on helps people create a collection of custom-designed messages and photos for a milestone moment or to preserve memories.

Currently the platform is designed using WooCommerce (WordPress) + PHP. There is a need to rewrite the WooCommerce (WordPress) part with Shopify Plus from scratch.

REQUIREMENTS
At least 3+ years of ecommerce development experience (Shopify, Magento, Volusion, etc.)
Experience using JS Frameworks (jQuery, Vue.js, React, etc.)
A solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
Experience integrating dynamic content solutions with AJAX or API Services
Experience with Git and GitFlow
A good understanding of CI concepts (TeamCity, Jenkins)
Upper-Intermediate level of English

WILL BE A PLUS
Experience with Shopify Plus
Awareness of the marketing events, discounts, gift cards, and their configurations in Shopify
Prior experience with product/customer/order import export management
Solid knowledge of performance improvement best practices

RESPONSIBILITIES
Closely work with the client to gather requirements on Shopify part of the project
Work on Shopify checkout setup, customer account setup, exchanging product info between the project parts, etc.
Continuously participate in technical risks identification and analysis, immediately notify the Project Manager of new risks identified, and suggest a mitigation strategy
Report status and progress according to the project and company demands
Сontribute to the creation of technical specifications
Participate in estimation and planning sessions
