Senior/Lead Full Stack Engineer in SyncWords

About position

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer who is ready to join the creation of a SaaS platform that is changing the world of media localization for both Live streaming and pre-recorded video.

We implement our own ML algorithms and use existing ones for delivering better Captioning, Subtitling, and AI Dubbing for customers like Amazon, Sony, Netflix, and many others.

The perfect candidate for us is the one who has backend experience (PHP / Node.JS) and then gained Front-end skills. It would be a perfect match for us if you can work with PHP and React.

What will you deal with?

– Develop and maintain modern web applications using

– React/JavaScript/TS/Node.js.

– Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technologies related to React stack

– Continuously optimize applications for performance, reliability, and compatibility across various browsers and devices (most of our users use desktops)

– Translate design requirements into functional, maintainable, and scalable code in line with product specifications

– Perform code reviews and propose improvements to increase the maintainability and testability of applications

– Debug and resolve technical issues on web applications

You’ll be able to handle the tasks above, if

– Your tools are JavaScript (React / Mobx / Tailwind) and Node.js

– You use Typescript

– You are familiar with PHP (Laravel)

– You know AWS (Cognito, Lambda, and Architecture/Console) in general

– You have knowledge of fundamental architectural principles & design patterns

– You worked with tools such as Create React App, Parcel, Vite

– You have deep knowledge of Typed systems

– You use Cypress or GitLab CI/CD for tests

– You’re familiar with Serverless architecture

– You’re experienced in building RESTful APIs

And it will be much easier for you to work if you have (as bonus skills)

– Understanding Agile software methodology

– Experience with frameworks like Next.js / Gatsby / Remix

– Understanding of DB architecture principles

– Experience in holding leadership roles would be a bold plus
