Senior/Lead Full Stack Developer in Health care startup

You will be a part of the engineering team for a brand-new healthcare start-up. 

Key duties

The responsibilities will include building GUI's and back-end services for multiple architectural components within the product. Those components, for instance, will include microservices to support search and match functionality, managing user profiles, transactions, etc. The team members will be accountable for ingesting business requirements, coding, automated building, testing, and releasing the software artifacts, as well as maintaining and supporting the runtime environment of the entire product. In addition, the members of the team will be empowered to engineer and own solutions to drive well-understood and deterministic architecture and enable scaling of operations by developing end-to-end automated workflows leveraging IaC, and automated SDLC.

• Capable of leading development efforts on technically complex projects
• Defines standards for use and management of architectural components
• Guides decisions around SDLC and infrastructure automation best practices
• Able to overcome differences of opinion and drive team alignment around a specific goal or solution
• Participates in team code reviews
• Leads or supports incident response and troubleshooting efforts as needed
• Works independently receive minimal guidance

Business knowledge

• Demonstrates deep knowledge of products/flows within supported businesses
• Makes decisions that are cognizant of the firm’s broader business strategy
• Can articulate business needs and translate them into technology solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience
• In-depth understanding of on-prem and cloud infrastructure components
• Knowledge of automation platforms and techniques such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, IaC
• SME level knowledge of UI frameworks, such as Angular, React, Vue. So, languages like JavaScript, Typescript
• In-depth expertise of at least one JVM based language and frameworks
• Knowledge of databases (relational and NoSQL) and cloud providers like AWS
• Applies software development lifecycle practices
• Familiarity with continuous integration, delivery, and deployment
