Senior Security Engineer IRC169549 in GlobalLogic

Description:

We will be responsible for e2e migration for our automotive customer. The scope is to migrate from a platform based on Intel processor to Qualcomm Snapdragon processor architecture. The new version should keep existing functionality and extend it across new features. This is a completely green-field project builded from scratch. Once the scope is wide, there is a possibility to upscale skills across the technologies.

In our project you will work on:

• Personalization for vehicle users
• Develop and maintain the functionality to create, store and use personal profiles in the car. Implementation and functionality reaches through multiple ECU cross the vehicle electrical architecture

Vehicle Functions support

• Define and develop user features and settings that are interacting across the vehicle e.g. climate, charging, active safety, tyre pressure, displays, lights, locking, drive and control settings
• Positionion & Maps
• Develop and maintain Positioning, Navigation and Media center
• Core HMI
• Develop and maintain HMI including SystemUI and Launcher(“Homescreen”), window handling, notifications and other core features of the UI, handling System UI layers
• Camera support
• Develop and maintain the component full stack features within Park Assist Functions – Park Assist Camera and Park Assist sensors, rear view and 360. Collection of camera and video streams, presented to the end user with legal requirements on start-up time
• BT Telephony
• Develop and maintain VCC Messaging and dialer functionality, BT Settings, BT policy management, BT certification and XTs testing and UI for E-Call
• Security
• Develop and maintain the security mechanisms in the head unit, for example intrusion detection system and applying google security patches etc. in the car
• SW Download, Diagnostics & OTA
• Develop and maintain software download and diagnostics functionality including unpacking software releases and installing the SW in ECUs as well as diagnostics services in the Component
• Developing functionality for downloading SW from cloud to the car and displaying info to the user about progress on the update

Requirements:

• Knowledge about Security on Android devices
• Experience with Automotive Security
• Good communication skills – both written and spoken
• Ability to collaborate with team-members and help with organization of job
• Some knowledge of Java (possibility to read and understand) will be a big plus
• Development of Linux on at least power-user level
• Knowledge of Qualcomm Snapdragon processor is a big plus here, but solid knowledge of other processors is appreciated as well
• Agile attitude
