Senior Python developer in Honeycomb Software

Honeycomb Software is an innovative fast growing software company that develops digital products for startups and online businesses.

We are looking for a motivated, and experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team and help us build a new marketplace platform that integrates with the Stripe Marketplace API and an Ethereum-based blockchain.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven ability to translate high-level requirements into technical tasks and implement them efficiently.

Project Description:  

The customer help oil and gas companies produce clean energy at a profit by using Energy AI and computer vision to automate HSE, ESG, & operations

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development
• Proficiency in Django and associated ecosystems
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and experience with API integration
• Ability to work with a web3 expert to create a simple Ethereum wallet integration
• Experience with or willingness to quickly learn the Stripe marketplace API
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Design and implement user interfaces using React
• Experience in building and deploying scalable applications in a cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools (Git, Jenkins, Travis CI)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Previous experience working on a marketplace platform

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Implement our marketplace platform using Django for backend and React for frontend
• Integrate with Stripe Marketplace API to facilitate market transactions
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Ensure high quality, scalable, and secure code
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platform remains competitive
