Senior FullStack (PHP/JS) Developer in Booknet

Congratulations! My name is Anna and I am the Head of HR of the IT company Booknet (booknet.com).

We are currently expanding the team of the IT department and invite a Senior FullStack Developer (php+js) to join us.

We have been creating and developing a literary marketplace for 7 years, which is in the TOP 10 most popular platforms in the category "Books and Literature", and also has 9.6 million users worldwide.

Several language versions of our product already have a successful history, so we invite you to join us and help us conquer new markets.

What is the revolutionary nature of our product:

- we have created a new experience of authorship, where a writer can publish a book or a separate chapter immediately after writing it and receive feedback from his readers;

- our readers have the opportunity to discover and discuss novelties of their favorite authors immediately after creation, without waiting for a long time for printed editions.

Our team consists of 10 specialists: CTO, 5 FullStack developers (PHP), two Manual QA, Product Designer and Business Analyst.

Technologies we use : PHP 7.4, Yii2, jQuery, MySQL, Redis, Memcached.

What we expect from you:

- 2+ years of commercial experience with PHP, good knowledge of OOP

- Knowledge of JavaScript (10% frontend tasks)

- MySQL, optimization, design

- Experience with Yii2

- Experience working with large highly loaded systems, understanding of basic highload patterns

- Git, Linux

- Initiative, the ability to look at the functionality through the eyes of the user, ask questions, get to the bottom of it, and offer ideas.

It will be a plus:

- Knowledge of DDD

- Ability to write tests

- Knowledge of one of the JS frameworks
