Description:

Our Customer is a French OTT distribution platform that has presence on various connected devices and screens. They are transforming access to television and providing linear and non-linear programs from 170+ publishers and media channels.

Main project goals include development of new features and optimization of the Client’s SmartTV apps for several platforms; investigating new technologies in media area and prototyping for new platforms.

We are looking for the enthusiastic candidate who will be actively contributing to the project, suggesting new ideas and communicating with the Client’s team.

Requirements:

Required

– 6+ years of professional experience using JavaScript

– 6+ Experience with React + Redux framework or any other js-framework

– Experience with REST API integration and understanding of networking

– Intermediate strong or higher English level

– Ability to work in agile software development environment, maintaining focus yet remaining flexible to requirements and design change

– Proactive problem solving abilities

Preferred

– Development experience with Tizen, WebOS or any other TV platform is a plus

– Experience with video playback apps

– Experience with Analytics and Advertisements integration

Job Responsibilities:

– Collaboration with the Customer’s team on creating SmartTV / Web applications

– Debugging and bugfixing

– New features development

– Apps improvement and optimization

– Taking part in the development of prototypes of the applications for different platforms

– Writing unit tests

– Performing code review

– Suggesting new features and enhancements

– Investigating new web and SmartTV technologies
