The Safety Engineer shall assure that requirements on software safety for hybrid
transmissions are developed according to applicable standards and follow the client processes. The
Safety Engineer works closely with the System Safety Manager and System Engineers to
develop a complete set of software requirements according to project timing
requirements.
Minimum M.Sc. in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or equal work experience
Experience:
5 to 10 Years.
Requirements:
o Have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures.
o Good Understanding on EGAS and other state of art Safety concepts.
o Solid understanding of electrified transmissions and electric drive units
o Experience in safety work methodology /Audits/ Assessments.
o Good knowledge of the ISO26262 automotive standard
Merits:
o Understanding of Cyber Security standard ISO21434 is a strong merit.
o JIRA knowledge is a merit.
o Doors/system weaver/Medini knowledge is a merit
o Functional Safety Certification from reputed organizations.
o Safety Software development ( Model Based)

JIRA
o Software Safety planning as a supplement to Master Safety Plan.
o Ability to drive all functional safety process related to Software (Part 6).
o Responsible to prepare Safety case from Software side.
o Participation and do necessary for Safety Audits and assessments.
o Analyze Technical Safety concepts and Customers System Design requirements.
o Preparation of Software Safety requirements and specification.
o Support to System Safety engineers.
o Communicate with customers on how to meet functional safety requirements
o Support for software architecture and Architecture safety analysis.
o Support for tool qualification.
o Good understanding on FMEA/FTA/DFA and shall be able to perform safety
analysis.
o Support for Safety test planning and development of Test cases.
o Support in development of unit design and methodologies.
o If the candidate has needed qualifications, the system safety tasks will be
expanded to also include management of Cybersecurity requirements.
